Appliances used to be like that but I think they built planned obsolescence into them. I remember a friend saying their house was 7 years old and all their appliances started going around the same time. <br /><br />My husband's Versa Note has 120,000 miles on it. He used to have a 50 mile 1 way commute at his last job before he retired so he put a lot of miles on it. It still runs pretty good. Thankfully the transmission went out while it was still under warranty.<br /><br />I was trying to think of something that was old and still in use that we have. I think the closest thing I can think of is cast iron skillets hubby's parents had for a long time as he remembered his mom cooking meals in them when he was growing up and he turned 68 years old this year. <br /><br />That is kind of cool to find those old coins!
